ABOUT THE FILM: Pocahontas is the first animated Disney feature film to be based on a real historic character, and the folklore and legend that surrounds the Native American woman Pocahontas. It features a fictionalized account of her encounter with Englishman John Smith and the settlers that arrived from the Virginia Company. The limited edition cel titled "Just Around the River Bend" was taken from Sequence 5, Scene 25. The piece was hand-inked and hand-painted on acetate at the world-famous Disney Ink and Paint Department located on the studio lot in Burbank, California.
A Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney is included.

ABOUT:
Tom Everhart is a celebrated American painter whose work uniquely bridges the worlds of fine art and popular culture through his exclusive use of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts characters. Initially trained at Yale School of Art and later mentored by Schulz himself, Everhart transitioned from traditional illustration and architectural rendering to a bold, expressive painting style after a life-altering battle with cancer in the late 1980s.
