ABOUT THE IMAGE: These storyboards showcase the creativity involved in the making of The Aristocats. They were created for climactic sequence starting at about 1:12:52 when Edgar locks Duchess and her kittens in a trunk, ready to ship them off for good. O'Malley, Roquefort, Frau, and even Scat Cat and the Alley Cats help to stop him and make sure he's the one who is sent to Timbuktu. The artist of these storyboards is thought to be Vance Gerry (1929 - 2005), a storyboard, layout, and character artist at Disney for nearly 50 years.
These pieces may have typical production wear including pinholes, minor edge tears, and faint smudging.
ABOUT THE MEDIUM: Original Storyboard Drawings show what’s moving in each shot, and in which direction, so that the production team is crystal clear on the desired end result, which is exactly what a professional storyboard should do. Having an original production storyboard from one of your favorite movies or short film's is a great collector's piece.
