ABOUT THE IMAGE: This incredible photostat print of the Mos Eisley Spaceport on Tatooine was made from the original Industrial Light & Magic blueprint. George Lucas gave Norman Jacobs unprecedented access and permission to reproduce production blueprints for publication in his Starlog "Star Wars Technical Journals" licensed by the Lucas Org. The piece is printed from original ILM vellum on 51" x 36"blue line paper depicting an elevation of the Mos Eisley Space Port marked "Stage Layout – Mos Eisley Spaceport Set No. 233, Stage 3." It is dated, "20 Jan. 76" in the text block, which bears the working title, "The Star Wars." An outline of the Millennium Falcon also visible in the bottom half of the piece. (Exhibiting age and handling with some toning, curling, and tears to edges, not affecting imagery.)
